Proverbs 25:13
Like the cold of snow in the time of harvest is a faithful messenger to those who send him; he refreshes the soul of his masters.
The low temperature was 6 this morning with a wind chill of -6. I was able to ride most of the course until The snow drift on 9 Players Cart path! The cold weather is scheduled to continue through the weekend. Please do not sled on the course it may be dangerous! If I catch your kids out there I will put them to work picking up branches and logs!
Jim is grinding the last set of greens reels today, and I am working on cleaning the tree tops up with the ground frozen. Thank you Mary Anne #14 looks great! Your chain saw work is commendable! We had about 4-5″ of snow at the golf course with more expected Monday, and then we will warm back up in to the high 40’s low 50’s a week from tomorrow, according to the forecast!
The Ramey’s, with the farm next door sent me these photos of their tree work being done by the Amish. Since they have a section of woods next to a field instead of a fairway Alan was able to bring his Beligian horses to pull the logs out. I hope to stop by later today and check them out. That’s Real Horse Power!
The snow was 2 to 2.5 feet deep in spots along the path and the open holes on Players have very only a inch or two on the turf canopy.
Sunrise #3 Players
Tuesday I was able to move some of the snow off the main drive!
No pictures of Jim this time.
Thank You,
